Baby Tessa

I've always wanted a 3-D ultrasound and being the last baby and my last chance I just decided to do it. The kids had fun guessing who she would look like. The little stinker wouldn't take her arms away from her face. The couple good shots he got though I think look like Kaylee. I will be fun to compare when she is born. I also made him double check that she is still a girl and she still is thank goodness or else I would have a boy in alot of pink hairbows.

Happy New Year

We celebrated New Year's at my mom's house. We go there every year and eat the traditional seafood buffet including oysters, octupus ( And yes we all like it. It's pretty good.) shrimp and clam chowder.

The kids had fun blowing these for days. My mom also sent us home with TONS of confetti. Which we did outside but I'm still vaccuming it to this day.

We also played games. My family doesn't usually stay up until midnight though because my mom always works early the next day. This is not usually my favorite holiday and the Vasquez family didn't have their usual party so we went home and went to bed early. Maybe we are getting old or maybe it's just that I'm very pregnant but it was sure nice to go to bed early.

We have a tradition that Santa's tricky elf Jack Frost comes. He fills stockings with newspaper and other things trying to trick you. At the bottom is a treat or a small toy.

Christmas

We had a very fun Christmas at our house this year. We had a BIG party the night before with the Vasquez side of the family at our house. They stay up until midnight and open present from each other. We went to bed around 2:00 am then woke up bright and early at 7:00 am to see what Santa brought for us.

Kaylee was very excited to see that she got every thing she asked for. Her very favorite present was her cake bakery. We spent the whole day baking cake.

Carson love his pirate ship. He opened it and told us all" I knew it "and" see I told you so".

C.J. loved his dinosaur and castle. He is also very into backagons.

The whole rest of the day was spent opening and taking a million metal twisties off toys, putting in batteries and putting toys together. A very fun yet exhausting day!!!!

The Nutcraker

Kaylee had the chance this weekend to be in The Nutcracker. She had alot of fun being a little mouse. It was alot of work and many weekend practices. She had alot of fun getting her makeup done at the beauty school. My pictures aren't great because I took them at the dress rehersal. They don't let you take pictures during the performance.

Temple Square

Every year we have a little mini vacation to Temple Square. The kids really love this and it's become one of our favorite Christmas traditions. We go see a movie first. Then we go out to eat. We get a hotel room in Salt Lake and go for a carriage ride around the temple and see the lights. Then their favorite part, swimming at the hotel.

Kaylee

These are some pics of Kaylee I just love. I'm in the middle of trying to redecorate her and the baby's room and printed some out for her room. Little girls are so much fun!!! Especially this one. She is so sweet and such a good helper. I can't wait for her to have a little sister to play with. We love you Kaylee!!!!!
