So Random....

This little rascal is 11 months! These are the only two pictures she would let me take of her. She is so wiggily!!!

My version of the acid mirror without the acid ( too scary for me)! I love how it turned out. It may not be for everyone but it is here to stay!!!! I took me many broken mirrors to finally get here. Mirrors just aren't my thing I guess. But it was fun so I might just give it another try somewhere else in the house. And again sorry about my horrible camera. Maybe I will get one for my birthday but until then I have to deal with these bad pictures. Hope you can tell how cute it really is.

On a happier note...

I finally finished redecorating the girls room. the pictures aren't the best because I really need a new camera but oh well. This chair I got from an antique yard sale. It's from the 1920's and it's called a nursing chair. Which I thought was perfect since that's what I used it for but it was actually used for the people who were caring for sick people. It could be scooted close to a bed. I loved it because a full sized rocking chair was to big for the room. You can't really tell inmy horribly dark picturebut it was pink and I painted over it with the blue then distressed it so the pink is coming through.

It was a little hard doing a nursery/ big girl room. I let Kaylee decorate her own wall with her art work. Also the blue picture is a magnet board and the flowers are her magnets.

I also put that little cupboard above her bed as a little place to hide her special things.

Mixed Emotions

Body of woman found in west desert identified - ksl.com

12 yrs ago. someone very important to us disappeared. It affected our family in so many ways. She was a sister, an aunt and most importantly a mom. What a reflief to finally find her so that all the people we love can get some closure. Now let's pray that we will be able to get some justice for this.

Tubes and Ten months

Tess finally got her tubes. It couldn't have come any sooner. She has been so sick the past couple months with ear infection after ear infection. The poor little thing had to have 6 Rocefin shots in her leg the month of December. Finally I think we have sleep ahead of us. She has actually been loosing weight because she never felt like eating. Already in the second day my very happy baby is back and eating up a storm. She woke up very mad and it did take the whole day to get back on track after we had to wake her up at 5:30am. I'm very grateful it's over and she did great!
This little tiny hospital gown is just too cute!!! They even gave her some little tiny hospital socks to wear and this little lion.
She turned 10 months old on Jan.8th . I can't believe how fast this year went by. I'm already starting to think about her birthday. I'm feeling a little sad that she will be one soon but so excited for the next set of milestones!!!!

Snow Day and My Little Champ

Wow can you believe all that snow? I was kinda fun to have a snow day and just be stuck inside doing nothing all day.I love the snow until January then I can't wait until spring. This was actually the day before but the kids built quit a fort.

And here is my 1st place wrestler. He won all 3 of his tourtament matches and won a gold metal. One of the kids beat him really bad at the beginnig of the season. He has learned so much that today he beat him 11-1. He is so cute when he wrestles and I wish the video I was trying to download worked. Good job C.J.!!!!!

It's that time of year again... and I love it!!!

We took our annual trip to see the lights at Temple Square. This sure is becoming one of my kids favorite traditions.
Nobody would stay still long enough to get a good picture. Oh well.

This hotel has the funnest swimming pool and it even has a water slide.

This little rascal turned 9 months. she loves animals, daddy and playing peek a boo. Unfortunately she has had 4 ear infections in the past two months. So she will be getting tubes in Jan. She weighed 16.1 lbs at her 9 month check and was in the 8 percentile but I'm sure we'll catch up. Mine don't stay little for too long. She is an expert crawler now and pulls herself up to standing. It's hard to believe she will be walking soon.

And lastly my family has had a fun tradition since I was little. On New Year's Eve the kids leave out their Christmas socks and Jack Frost comes. He is one of Santa's tricky elves. He tries to trick them and fills their stockings with newspaper and other things like that and at the bottom is a treat or small toy. This year I made these because I thought they were so cute. It says ... You've been bad so here's the scoop all you get is snowman poop. I thought my kids would get a laugh out of that. Along with the fake candy coal we may leave them a couple dollars.
