Christmas

We had a very fun Christmas at our house this year. We had a BIG party the night before with the Vasquez side of the family at our house. They stay up until midnight and open present from each other. We went to bed around 2:00 am then woke up bright and early at 7:00 am to see what Santa brought for us.

Kaylee was very excited to see that she got every thing she asked for. Her very favorite present was her cake bakery. We spent the whole day baking cake.

Carson love his pirate ship. He opened it and told us all" I knew it "and" see I told you so".

C.J. loved his dinosaur and castle. He is also very into backagons.

The whole rest of the day was spent opening and taking a million metal twisties off toys, putting in batteries and putting toys together. A very fun yet exhausting day!!!!

The Nutcraker

Kaylee had the chance this weekend to be in The Nutcracker. She had alot of fun being a little mouse. It was alot of work and many weekend practices. She had alot of fun getting her makeup done at the beauty school. My pictures aren't great because I took them at the dress rehersal. They don't let you take pictures during the performance.

Temple Square

Every year we have a little mini vacation to Temple Square. The kids really love this and it's become one of our favorite Christmas traditions. We go see a movie first. Then we go out to eat. We get a hotel room in Salt Lake and go for a carriage ride around the temple and see the lights. Then their favorite part, swimming at the hotel.

Kaylee

These are some pics of Kaylee I just love. I'm in the middle of trying to redecorate her and the baby's room and printed some out for her room. Little girls are so much fun!!! Especially this one. She is so sweet and such a good helper. I can't wait for her to have a little sister to play with. We love you Kaylee!!!!!

Serious Nesting Syndrome

I have had some serious nesting going on with this pregnancy. The need to prepare is so crazy. I had to redecorate both kids rooms. Anyway this is the before of the boys room. Things are moved around a little because I had forgot to take the picture until I had already start moving things, but you get the picture. They went from little boy beds to a bunk.

The picture is kind of dark but they got a new bunk bed. It has a full on the bottom so that Kaylee can sleep in there for awhile when the baby is born. I also went with a sports theme.

I know this picture is sideways but you get the picture. I found some cute little lockers for them to put all their junk in. Now I just need to find a bunch of cute pictures to hang on the walls.

Pumpkin Carving

Every year Jesus helps the kids carve their pumkins.

They are so proud of their creations.

soccer, football and dance

We have had a very busy summer. Jesus coached Kaylee, C.J. and Carson's soccer team. On our days off from soccer we had football. In between that we had dancing. Kaylee auditioned for the ballet The Nutcracker. She is very excited to be in it this winter.

I can't believe I got Kaylee's hair cut this short but I love it! So much easier to do.

Sleepy Head

Carson has always been my best sleeper. These pictures were just too cute. This kid can fall asleep in any position.

Carnival Fun

I have always loved the carnival. I don't love the rides. I love the food and craft booths and just all the excitment going on. Here are some pics of my kids having fun on the rides.
